  • Political Preference

I am going to vote for Barack Obama, because I agree with his ideals and what he plans to do for this country and I disagree with John McCain on most of his, especially his plan to stay in Iraq until we've "won".

If anyone tell me that Barack Obama should not be president because he will be assassinated, I will be required by my belief in the theory of evolution to kick you, in whatever genitals you may possess, hard enough to assure that you will be the end of your genetic line. This may require repeated kickings, steel-toed boots, etc.

In addition, it will really lower my opinion of you as a person.

  • Just a heads up; if a woman says this to you, a stomping is really more appropriate than a kicking. Maybe you should invest in some cleats?

Not sure if I'm going to vote at all. I was a big fan of Obama, and was thriled about the possibility to vote for him, until he picked Biden as his running mate. I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate Joe Biden. His nomination caused me physical pain. And hell, my feelings are still very hurt from Obama voting for FISA.
So these are, I feel, legitamate reasons I might not vote for Obama. Nothing to do with his potential as a target, just that I feel it's unsuitable for him to have a running mate who would have happily thrown him in prison for the rest of his fucking life for his fooling around with drugs when he was younger.
But really, not voting for Obama because he might die means not voting for McCain either, because he is no fucking around old. He could just as easily die in office on his own accord, without the intervention of a second person. And that would leave Palin as president, which is even more terrifying than Biden.
And the third party candidates are worse. If Bob Barr is a libertarian, than my middle name is "fuck you, Bob Barr."
    Sigh.
  • @El_Sasho - Cleats have been noted, but I really wouldn't mind kicking until I hit ovaries.

If the other guy was black, and I wasn't planning to vote for him, I still think the assassination argument would anger me. I can't imagine living in a world where I was afraid to do something for fear of being shot down, and I don't think it's fair to expect someone else to.

I'm definitely going to start referring to you with your whole name from now on. Never has it sounded so regal.

  • @nocturnalvagrant - Kicking until you hit ovaries is starting to sounds more like foot-fucking than a kicking. At that point we're just going someplace very, very strange.

-Sasha Fuck You Bob Barr Branoh crap I don't want people to find this when they google my name.
  • *hugs* Congrats, sir. Tried to call and leave a ridiculous message for you, but the line was tied up.

Just heard McCain's concession speech. It was awfully... prepared.
  • I got two absentee ballots in the mail (both with my name spelled wrong) and I'm feeling morally smug that I only sent in one.  uh huh.
